NNPC / NAOC / OANDO JV Tertiary Scholarship Scheme, 2024

In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility, the NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Joint Venture is offering a Tertiary Scholarship Scheme for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic sessions. The application period is open from May 27 to June 30, 2024.

Two categories of awards are available:

  • Host/Transit Communities Merit Award: Specifically for students from NAOC Host/Transit Communities.
  • National Merit Award: Open to students from Non-Host/Transit Communities.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Be registered as FULL-TIME undergraduate students in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions.
  • Be certified 100-level students at the time of application.

Students in 200 level and above, current beneficiaries of similar awards, and dependents of NAOC/NAE/AENR/NACPFA are not eligible to apply.

Additionally, only indigenes of NAOC Host/Transit Communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Imo States can apply for the Host Communities Merit Award. The National Merit Award is exclusively for students pursuing studies in Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or Agricultural Sciences.

Application Process:

The application is open to 100-level students only and requires the submission of scanned copies of various documents, including:

  • Passport photograph
  • School ID Card
  • O’level Certificate
  • Admission Letter
  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Local Government Area of Origin
  • Letter from Community Paramount Ruler (for Host Communities Merit Award applicants only)
  • Letter from CDC Chairman (for Host Communities Merit Award applicants only)
  • JAMB Result

Important Notes:

  • An aptitude test will be conducted at a later date, and applicants will be responsible for their transportation costs.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the aptitude test.
  • The results of the aptitude test will be publicly posted.
  • Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
