How to Pay Your 2022-2023 Session Fees at University of Ibadan

Planning to pay your University of Ibadan fees for the 2022-2023 academic session? We’ve got you covered with a step-by-step guide to make the process smooth and hassle-free.

Step 1: Logging In

Begin by logging in to the student portal at https://student-portal.ui.edu.ng using the following details:

Username: Your student institutional email or matriculation number

Password: Your last name in lowercase

Step 2: Selecting the Current Session

Once logged in, select “2022-2023” as your current session in the top right corner.

Step 3: Changing Your Password

For security reasons, you’ll be prompted to change your password. Input your old password, create a new one, confirm it, and click “Update.”

Payment Steps:

Step 1: Dashboard Access

After logging in, access your dashboard.

Step 2: Navigating to Fees

Find the “Fees” section in the left menu.

Step 3: Selecting My Fees

Click on “My Fees” to proceed.

Step 4: Compulsory Fees

Here are the fees that are compulsory for all students:

  1. Bundled fee or School fee
  2. Technology Levy (paid separately)
  3. Utility Levy (paid separately)

For specific students:

Health Professional Levy or Laboratory Professional Fee (for College of Medicine students)

Special DVM Levy (for Faculty of Veterinary Medicine students)

Step 5: Fee Selection

Tick the checkbox next to the fee you’re paying and click “Proceed.”

Step 6: Confirm Payment Details

Double-check your payment details for accuracy.

Step 7: Proceed to Pay

Click “Proceed to Pay” to continue.

Step 8: Payment Platform

You will be directed to the payment platform. Choose a payment option such as card, bank, branch, transfer, or remita.

Step 9: Completing Payment

Follow the payment process instructions based on your selected option.

Confirmation of Payment:

Step 1: After Payment

Upon successful payment, you’ll be redirected to the registration portal.

Step 2: Checking Transaction Status

Navigate to “Fees” and select “Transactions” to confirm your payment status.

Step 3: Accessing Payment Details

If successful, click the eye icon under “Actions” to view and download a PDF version of your payment details. You will also receive a Remita receipt via email.

Step 4: Failed Transaction

If your transaction fails but you were still charged, click the refresh icon to update the status.

Course Registration:

Step 1: Consult Your Department

Visit your department to get guidance on the courses you should register for.

Step 2: Online Registration

Expect an email with further instructions for online registration. Make sure to check your email regularly.
