Application Process
Applications are accepted from July 26, 2023, starting at 7:00 AM, until August 31, 2023, at 12:00 midnight. Here’s how you can apply:
- Visit a JAMB CBT Centre to register as a Part-Time Candidate.
- Obtain a JAMB Registration Number.
- Visit the University of Benin’s website (http://www.uniben.edu) or the Waeup Portal (http://waeup.uniben.edu).
- Choose the Student Portal and then the Waeup Portal.
- Ensure you have a valid email address (do not use a cyber-cafe’s email).
- Click on “PART TIME STUDIES APPLICATIONS 2022/2023”.
- Register for the application and fill in the required details.
- Check your email for your system-generated ID and Password.
- Log in to the application portal using the provided details.
- Complete the application process by providing necessary information and uploading your passport photograph.
- Pay the application fee using an ATM-Enabled Verve or Master Card via the “Pay with Remita” option.
- Preview and confirm your information before submitting the application online.
- Print out the Application slip for reference.

Candidates may not need to write an Entrance Examination. However, screening will be based on the O’ Level/JUBEP/Diploma results. Admission status will be available online two weeks after the application deadline.
