2023 YUMSUK Post-UTME/DE: Requirements, Application, and Eligibility

If you’ve selected Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano as your top choice during the 2023/2024 admission application through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), you’re welcome to join the ONLINE SCREENING EXERCISE. The process takes place on the university’s website from August 14th to August 27th, 2023.

Who Can Apply:

To be eligible, you should have:

• Chosen Yusuf Maitama Sule University as your primary choice
• Secured at least 5 O’level credits, including English Language and Mathematics in SSCE or an equivalent, in no more than two sittings. This requirement is applicable to both UTME and Direct Entry candidates
• Achieved a minimum Cut-off Mark as indicated below:

For Direct Entry Candidates:

Must have completed the 2023 Direct Entry (D.E) online Registration Slip

Should hold a National Diploma (ND), IJMB, NCE (or equivalent) certificate or statement of result

ND holders need a minimum CGPA of 3.0 for Science-based programs and 3.5 for Arts-based programs

D.E. Candidates with N.C.E should have a minimum of 9 points for relevant Faculty of Education programs

D.E. Candidates with UMB need at least 7 points for Sciences and 8 points for Arts-based programs

How to Register:

1. Visit the University WEBSITE (www.yumsuk.edu.ng) and access the “2023 ADMISSION PORTAL”
2. Generate a REMITA Payment Invoice from the portal and make a payment of TWO THOUSAND NAIRA (N2,000.00) at any bank nationwide.
3. Return to the Portal to complete the registration and print the Acknowledgment Slip. You’ll need to present this along with your other documents during the Aptitude Test or Direct Entry Screening.
