The Oyo State Government has issued a directive stating that history should be re-introduced in all public primary schools from the beginning of the current third term of the 2021/2022 session.

This was announced by the Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr. Nureni Adeniran, who also mentioned that the directive was in line with the new policy of the Oyo State Government.
